A few quick notes on camp and life in general:
I have finished three books:
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Euthyphro, Apology, Crito, Phaedo by Plato
A Confession by Leo Tolstoy
While playing handball with my campers yesterday, I dislocated my elbow. I pulled my elbow back into place as fast as I could. My tendons are pretty sore and I'm a little down about this but otherwise...stuff happens. And if you didn't know, this is the 6th time I've dislocated my elbow.
Last week was Outpost and we did a 24 mile, overnight canoe trip with 12 campers and 2 other counselors. Slept on an island. Didn't wear a shirt so I got roasted.
The last four weeks have been great. Physically challenging though. Sometimes all I want to do is take naps.
Me and Dan have a house in Seattle. It is 3000 sq. ft. and has it back up against the Puget Sound and Olympic Mts. I have moments throughout the day where I get super excited about it. Just one more month till we move.
I also saw Transformers 2. Sucked. Some of the action was good but the movie dropped a few notches in the quality of the characters.
Ok, thats all. I'm gonna go find my kids now.
Woohoo! I'm excited about your house. There's a better chance that'll I'll be in Seattle now, so we should be able to hang out!
