Every December, some of the blogs I follow start posting their top books of the year. I love to hear what people are reading. Most of the blogs that post those lists are theological so sometimes it feels like an advertisement for their brand of God but usually it's fascinating to hear what fascinates others.
For instance, I never would have guessed Albert Mohler would be so well read. But his list from last year included more history than theology. I heard he has one the largest private libraries in the world and reads 100 books a year. That's 2 a week. That's a part time job.
When I am closer to the end of December I'll post my list too.
